Mac Fattalini
Founder and Director

Mac was born in the Italian Alps and spent most of his time growing up in Switzerland. With an extensive career spanning senior leadership and over 15 years as a Master Yacht Captain (3000 GT Unlimited), he brings a practical approach to business operations and maritime management.
Throughout his career, Mac has successfully guided high-stakes maritime and business projects, combining a strong background in financial forecasting, strategic planning, and team leadership. From managing complex vessels and transforming them into successful charter enterprises, his journey of hands-on problem-solving and leadership naturally led him to found YCS.
Outside of his work, Mac is passionate about mentorship, serving as an instructor and examiner for aspiring captains, and enjoys rock climbing and spending time with his family.
Sam Robinson
Technical Manager
Speaks: English, Italian
Sam was born in the UK. Before moving into yachting, he completed a BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Engineering and a Rolls-Royce engineering apprenticeship, gaining early foundations in mechanical maintenance and electrical troubleshooting.
Transitioning to sea, he built his career as a 2nd Engineer before advancing to Chief Engineer and specializing in electronic engineering across a diverse range of vessels from 38m to 99m in length. Over the course of his extensive maritime career, he has accumulated hands-on expertise in mechanical repairs, system maintenance, and comprehensive shipyard projects.
Away from work, Sam enjoys family time with his wife, children, and dog, alongside hobbies such as DIY and hiking.
Emma Eriksson
Yacht Manager & Financial
Speaks: English, Swedish, Italian
Emma was born in Sweden and later moved to Switzerland to start her professional career in a high-end hospitality environment, where she developed a sharp eye for detail and precision learning. Building on this strong foundation, she entered the yachting industry in 2011, moving up to become a Purser on superyachts operating across the Mediterranean, Florida, and the Caribbean.
In this role, she worked closely with owners and managed yacht financial accounting, payroll, and crew operations. This extensive onboard experience and financial oversight naturally led to her transition ashore into yacht management.
When not at work, Emma enjoys spending time with her son, running, and various outdoor activities.
